Background
I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Oregon (#2094) and have worked as a mental health therapist since 2005. I maintain a private practice in Portland, Oregon, specializing in adult individual psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. Though I consider myself a generalist, in that I treat a wide spectrum of issues and complaints, I have a particular interest and expertise in working with college and graduate students, and with women who are experiencing difficulties with postpartum mood, anxiety, or the general transition to parenthood.
I have experience working in individual, couples, and group therapy. Before I began my private practice, I worked in a diverse range of settings, including group private practice, college counseling centers, outpatient clinics, and managed health care. As a result, I am skilled at collaborating with various treatment providers, such as psychiatrists, teachers, learning disability counselors, and other health care professionals in order to coordinate care.
I am currently a candidate in the Adult Psychoanalytic Training Program at the Oregon Psychoanalytic Institute.
